Settled!?!?!!

I love the new question I am asked on a regular basis now...."ARE YOU GUYS SETTLED INTO YOUR NEW HOME YET?"...I am sure I will have the same response this time next year, which is....Settled, NO, but OVERJOYED and completely THANKFUL, YES!!!!!.WE ARE LIVING IN PURE JOYOUS, CHAOS AND ARE COMPLETELY Thankful for it:-)

Everyone is thrilled to be in our new "big big" house (is what the boys call it)....One of my most favorite memories the first night we moved in, was hearing James ask me from the top of the stairs, "Mommy, we gonna live in dis big big house foreber?"

Our gratitude for what God has done for our family by moving us here is full scale. We thank Him daily for it all!

Springtime is finally here and with this season comes many, many memories. Ellie and Jenna were born in April, a beautiful month to deliver babies...Claire playing softball for 4 seasons now..the boys "leaving the house" for the first time in March several years ago after their 49 day NICU stay...but one memory is freshly surfacing within my spirit....

This time last year I was desperate for a physical healing of my body so I could run the Boston Marathon. God delivered the healing, but it wasn't physical, it was spiritual. I learned so much about myself and my intimate relationship I have with my Creator through my Boston training and actual race last year. Currently I am two weeks away from running the 116th Boston Marathon on April 16th. I am humbled and honored to be a part of it. This year my training didn't even begin until November due to my injury last year. I have trained very conservatively this time and stayed very healthy. I am just so thankful to be able to run without drugs and injections and the agony of pain, unlike last year. I have (YET AGAIN) learned so much about myself through this journey. I have (YET AGAIN) been "blessed beyond measure" and will surely give all the credit to my Heavenly Father, for without Him I am surely nothing and with Him, I am carried!

I will post about our Spring Break soon, but for now, I am headed to bed:-)
