A Day For Moms...what a gr8 idea!

My yummy breakfast from my sweet big girls.

Here is one of my sweet cards from Claire. I love the next to the last comment she makes telling me how much she appreciate me taking them out to eat, all five of them, after " a really long day"...so sweet that she recoginizes that sacrifice. I am so grateful for the character of my kids.

Our family after baby dedication at church.

So much fun spending time together playing in the dirt and planting flowers too:)

What a day to celebrate!!

Not only was it Mother's Day (and yes, my children were so sweet to me, my husband was amazingly wonderful as well) but it was also baby dedication at our church. So, we dedicated James and John David this morning at our church, Double Oak Community Church. Rob and I reminisced this morning of the dedication days from each of the girls. I remember them all so well, and I know I will always remember this special day. The boys wore the special shirts that Aimee Martin made for them. Brown and White gingham check cross with Psalms 66:5 scripted below. I shared with our pastor why that verse means so much to me (God brought that verse to me the first day I checked into the hospital for continuous monitoring), so when it was time to dedicate the boys, Pastor Randy read the verse and spoke briefly about how our boys are miracles from God. It was a beautiful dedication. Of course I cried. As soon as I saw their picture flash across the screen, tears started falling.

After church, we enjoyed a gorgeous day outside playing, planting flowers, riding bikes and just spending time together. I absolutely love days like today, I soak it up, take lots of pictures and in the end I thank God for the blessing of a memorable day to share for our family.
